Dyed Pre-order items. - Guild Wars Forums

Those of you who were zealous enough to pre-order Guild Wars were all given nice pre-order shiny gear.

My question is, can you dye them?

I tried dyeing my Canthan Targe [shield of dewm] green but it keeps it's crimson theme...

Are preorder items able to be dyed or are they stuck looking like that?

I dont have pre-order items, but I know some items (particularly weapons) dont dye well. Some dye a color diffrent then you'd expect (like a red bow dying purple when you color it blue) so I'd assume the same possibilities for pre-order items.

From what I've tested, when I died my red Canthan Targe Green, it turns up green on my item window, but on my actual character it stays red.

Must be a bug?
